Q: Are those alligators real?
A: Yes, we have 100 real alligators. Really. They're real. We swear.

Q: How long can alligators live?
A: Alligators in the wild typically live 50-60 years, however, alligators in captivity can live as long as 80 years.

Q: Why do alligators attack people?
A: 99% of all alligator attacks are provoked. By feeding an alligator in the wild you are actually provoking an attack. Alligators can associate humans with food and people may be attacked because someone else has fed the alligator.

Q: What do alligators eat in the wild?
A: Alligators are an opportunistic feeder which means they will eat anything that crosses their path if they are hungry. The usual wild alligator diet consists of apple snails, crawfish, snakes, fish, small mammals, and even the occasional bird.

Q: How fast can alligator run?
A: Alligators can reach speeds up to 15 mph, but they can only run approximately 30 yards at that pace due to lactic acid build up.

Q: Can alligators jump out of the water?
A: Yes, alligators have extremely strong tails that help them swim. The tail acts as a propeller on the alligator and enables the magnificent animal to reach heights equal to its body length out of the water.

Q: What is the difference between alligators and crocodiles?
A: Alligators and Crocodiles are different in many ways. Physically the crocodile is typically larger in size. Crocs have a V shaped snout compared to an alligator having a U shaped snout. Alligators have the top row of teeth showing when the mouth is closed but the crocodile adorns a feisty grin with both the top and bottom teeth showing. Crocodiles have a gland that enables them to drink salt or fresh water. The alligator lacking this gland is confined to live in a fresh water habitat, however, you may see an alligator swimming in saltwater keep in mind that the alligator cannot drink the water.

Q: Do you sell alligators?
A: Do you really want an untrainable pet that grows to be 14 feet long?

Q: Do you go in the water with them?
A: When we remember our swim suits.
